HomeTown Buffet
HomeTown Buffet is offering what they call “The Military Thank You Card” free of charge to all veterans with ID showing proof of
service. The card has a $50 value and offers two breakfasts, two lunches and two dinners and two “meal anytime” stickers on
the back of the card. The deal is a free meal with each paid adult meal. My wife and I went to the HomeTown Buffet near
Victorville Town Hall, in the same shopping center as Costco.
The lunch was really good with the “all you can eat” of the typical buffet. Our lunch had a great salad bar, soup bar and a wide
selection entrées and deserts. There were no sliced entrées like roast beef or turkey. I figure those are served at the slightly
more expensive dinner service.
The decor is nice, the chairs comfortable and lots of room to sit. Our entire meal, and yes I went back several times, cost us less
than $6.50 with beverage. Not bad in a time of high prices. We were headed to Costco anyway and thanks to the
announcement at the Sunday meeting, we managed to have a great lunch at a great price.
